Carbon Black K-354

For more than 10 years, our enterprise, the OOO "CARBON", has been an important exporter of  carbon black K-354 produced by the Chemical Plant “Khazar” belonging to the State Concern "Turkmenchemistry" (Turkmenistan). This plant is the world’s only manufacturer of carbon black of this grade.

Carbon black K-354 is active channel black produced by the partial combustion of natural gas in combustion chambers fitted with slotted burners and in diffusive flame thereof a thermal-oxidative decomposition of natural gas occurs. Carbon black (sometimes called “soot", which is not exactly correct) obtained this way is deposited  when the flame impinges on cool surfaces (“channels”) placed inside the chamber. Owing to this specific manufacturing technology, channel black  has a high dispersion value and a low structural value.

Thanks to its unique properties, carbon black K-354 has a wide and varied range of applications.
